** Senior Manager, Technical Accounting**, you’ll own our technical accounting strategy and play a key role in shaping how we scale responsibly and compliantly.

You’ll partner cross-functionally to guide complex transactions, build and evolve accounting policies, and ensure our financial reporting aligns with current and emerging standards. This role reports to the Associate Director, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting.

---### What You’ll Do
* Lead technical accounting under US GAAP and statutory reporting, partnering closely with Tax and cross-functional teams.
* Provide expert guidance on new and complex transactions and evolving business models.
* Develop and maintain company accounting policies and apply new accounting standards.
* Collaborate with external auditors and advisors on technical matters.
* Support SEC and statutory disclosures related to accounting policies and new pronouncements.
* Drive best practices, process improvements, and special projects across the organization.

---### What You Bring
* 6+ years of relevant experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* CPA required
* 2+ years of experience with US-based insurance companies
* 2+ years of financial reporting experience---### Bonus Points
* Experience in health insurance or insurtech
* 4+ years in insurance and financial reporting
* Background in public accounting
* Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
