Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist
Location: Far Rockaway, NY (On-site)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage the full AR lifecycle and support strong cash flow in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, collections, and subcontractor payments
- Prepare and submit customer invoices (including billing portals)
- Record payments, maintain AR aging, and issue credit memos
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with customers, sales, and subcontractors
- Prepare basic sales and billing reports
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- 3+ years of AR and collections experience
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment
- Industry experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or distribution preferred
- ERP experience a plus (Microsoft Business Central preferred)
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Stable business with long-term opportunity
