Senior Accountant

Our client is a pre-IPO fintech firm. They seek a remote Senior Accountant to join their team.

• Prepare and review Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and other regulatory filings
• Coordinate quarterly earnings release materials, investor-ready reporting packages, and non-GAAP reconciliations
• Manage the SEC reporting calendar and disclosure controls to ensure timely, accurate filings in a fast-paced tech environment
• Partner with Legal, FP&A, HR, Tax, Treasury, and Engineering to gather and validate information supporting public filings
• Research and document technical accounting matters relevant to technology companies, including revenue recognition, equity awards, software development costs, leases, and foreign currency
• Evaluate and implement new accounting standards and evolving guidance impacting SaaS and technology business models
• Maintain and enhance SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting within a dynamic, scaling organization
• Execute and review month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and system-driven consolidations
• Act as a key reporting resource to senior leadership, clearly communicating reporting risks, deadlines, and financial impacts while supporting team development

• 4-6 years of accounting experience
• Big 4 or national public accounting experience is preferred
• Public or combo experience
• Comfortable with 10Q/10K's, SEC reporting, and GAAP
• Detail-oriented and highly analytical
• CPA preferred
