Full Charge Bookkeeper

Location: Elmsford

Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Elmsford, New York. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and streamline accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a proactive work ethic, and proficiency in Quick Books Desktop.

Responsibilities:

- Perform accurate bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are balanced and up-to-date.

- Manage and maintain the general ledger, addressing discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy.

- Process accounts payable transactions, handling approximately 30 invoices daily.

- Oversee accounts receivable operations, including managing 50-60 bills each day.

- Provide payroll assistance for a workforce of approximately 70 employees.

- Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.

- Utilize Quick Books Desktop to execute bookkeeping tasks and maintain financial records. Requirements - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop is required.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations effectively.

- Familiarity with payroll processes for small to medium-sized teams.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
