Senior Tax Accountant

Overview

My client, a Non-Profit focused on entertainment located in Midtown, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join the team. This role will report to the Tax & Accounting Director and will handle Tax and Accounting responsibilities.

• Prepare annual tax accruals and tax returns
• Prepare quarterly estimates and extensions
• Assist with federal and state tax audits
• Analyze and reconcile GL accounts
• Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Tax work will comprise approximately 30% of the role; accounting will comprise the remaining 70%

• 1+ year of experience in tax accounting; ideally recent experience in public accounting or a combination of public/private experience
• Ability to work on site, 5 days per week
• Eager, committed, and enthusiastic about career development
• Willingness to work beyond 35 hours (OT will be paid)

• Base salary up to $95,000
• Any hours beyond 35 per week will be paid overtime
