A boutique CPA firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage complex tax engagements for a diverse client base. This role is responsible for overseeing tax compliance and planning, reviewing returns, mentoring staff, and serving as a key point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities- Manage and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Lead tax planning initiatives, including projections and strategic advisory work
- Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff; review work for accuracy and compliance
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing guidance and building long‑term relationships
- Coordinate deadlines, manage workflow, and ensure timely delivery of engagements
- Stay current on tax law changes and advise clients accordingly
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA required
- 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Prior experience managing staff and client relationships
- Strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail
