Location: New York

A well known Asset Management Firm is seeking an Accountant to join their growing team in New York, NY! This individual will be working on all firm accounting functions, along with Accounts Payable and cash reconciliation. This is a great opportunity for junior-level accountants who have a desire to be in the financial services field and a great work ethic.

Job Responsibilities:

Daily cash operations such as initiating payments and internal transfers

Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliation by monitoring all cash flows (revenue cash, disbursements, and receipts)

Prepare supporting schedules to assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end audit processes

Help fund and record the US/Foreign payroll

Collaborate with the revenue team to ensure Banker’s knowledge of cash inflows from clients and make sure the related revenue and expenses are reflected properly

Job Requirements:

At least 2-3 years of accounting experience

Microsoft Excel and Word

Background in Accounts Payable
