The Accounts Payable Clerk works closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payments while adhering to company policies and internal controls.

Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process, review, and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documentation
- Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wires
- Maintain vendor files, including W-9s, payment terms, and banking information
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve billing or payment discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the general ledger
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Assist with audits by providing documentation and reports as requested
- Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned
- Coordinate billback calculations and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and external vendors
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 or more years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Experience with accounting systems such as Yardi, Quick Books, AVID, or similar
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in property management, real estate, or multi-entity environments
- High-volume invoice processing experience
- Experience supporting audits and internal controls
