Accounts Payable Accountant

Overview

Our client is a leading law firm with offices around the world. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team in New York City
. The position is hybrid and requires 4 days in the office per week. They offer excellent benefits

• Manage full Accounts Payable cycle
• Manage compliance issues related to Accounts Payable processes
• Oversee outgoing payment process, including check processing
• Prepare financial statements and coordinate audits
• Review and post journal entries to General Ledger
• Report, research, and correct variances
• Execute general account reconciliations
• Salary: $60-70k annually, based on experience

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or similar concentration
• 1+ years Accounting experience
• Must have knowledge of GAAP, General Ledger, financial statements, and compliance issues related to Accounts Payable processes
• Precise, detail-oriented, and good with numbers
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communicator with excellent follow-through
