** BDO Canada's St. John’s office is looking for an
** Intermediate Accountant
** to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:
* Participate in audits and review engagements for clients across diverse industries
* Prepare working papers and financial statements in accordance with professional and regulatory standards
* Establish and cultivate positive working relationships with clients, and be responsive to their requests and suggestions
* Contribute to business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients
* Contribute to talent development and culture initiatives aimed at elevating the overall team
* Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issues

** Your experience and education
*** You are working towards your CPA designation.
* You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in external audit within a public accounting firm or 2-3 years in any financial reporting position.
* You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work.
* You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
