Seasonal Tax Consultant

A boutique public accounting firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Senior Tax & Audit Consultant to support tax compliance and audit engagements across a diverse client base. This role involves preparing and reviewing complex tax filings, supporting audit engagements, and serving as a key point of contact for clients across multiple industries, including real estate, non-profit organizations, and professional services firms.

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for 1040 (individual's), partnerships (1065 and K1's), and corporate returns
• S-corporations, and individuals, including K-1 preparation and allocations.
• Manage a portfolio of 50+ partnership clients, including complex multi-state partnership structures.
• Assist with tax notices, correspondence, and client inquiries.
• Support tax compliance for high-net-worth individuals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting with exposure to both tax and audit engagements.
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Strong experience with 1040 individual returns and S-corporations
