Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working on behalf of our client in the media space who is seeking a well-rounded Senior Accountant to join their team on a direct hire basis. This will be a hybrid in-office role in Brooklyn, NY. If you are looking to get your foot in the door with a dynamic company and can thrive in a high volume, fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you!

• Assist with month end close processes
• Perform financial statement preparation under GAAP standards
• Prepare and post various journal entries (accruals, reclassifications, depreciation, etc.)
• Review quarterly investment reports and reconcile to general ledger
• Monthly cash flow reconciliations and analysis
• Manage intercompany reconciliations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Prior industry experience, or public accounting experience, is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain strong work ethic under strict deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience utilizing Net Suite is a plus
• 2+ years of relevant experience

$80K - $90K, depending on experience.
