Our client is a hospitality company. They seek a Staff Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting as needed
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
