Staff Accountant

EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a mid‑town Manhattan Real Estate Management Company in search of a Senior Staff Accountant
. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with hands‑on experience in journal entries and accounts receivable. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the company’s operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post a high volume of journal entries accurately and timely.
• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support financial reporting and analysis for management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
