We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Temporary Assurance Senior Associate to join the team in our New York City office.

Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Cohn Reznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a Cohn Reznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

• Serving as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre‑engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules.
• Continue to build a thorough understanding of all audits, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.
• In managing a team of staff associates, including interns, you will provide regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills.
• Effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
• CPA designation is highly preferable and is a big plus
• 4+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required
• Financial Services industry experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of audit software Pro System Fx a plus
• Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills

In New York, the salary range for a Assurance Senior Associate is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the Cohn Reznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, to name a few.
