Salary $45 - $60 per hour

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial data is accurate.
• Assist with audits, working closely with auditors to ensure all financial information is presented accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis between actuals and budget, and provide clear explanations for variances.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
• Work on special projects as needed, providing financial insights and recommendations.

To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, you must have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred.
• Prior Audit Experience is preferred
• Experience with ERP systems & advanced excel
