Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

We are in search of an experienced Accountant for our client in NYC. This is a long-term temporary opportunity where you would be required to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines and manage confidential information. Advanced Excel and Oracle proficiency is required. The ability to work in the office, Monday through Friday is needed.

• Manage general ledgers, monthly journal entries, and audit adjustments.
• Reconcile benefit schedules, A/P, A/R, and fund discrepancies monthly.
• Manage inter‐fund allocations, reconciliations, billings, and transfers.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and monitor daily bank activity.
• Assist in preparing financial statements (trial balance, profit/loss and balance sheets).
• Process wire transfers and check requests.
• Prepare monthly expense reports and annual filings.

• Familiarity with non‐profit or Taft‐Hartley plans.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills;
  Oracle and MS Office experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Able to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Professional handling of confidential information.
