Senior Accountant

Soni is seeking an experienced a Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing technology company in a high-impact role supporting continued scale and operational maturity. This position will provide immediate support during an upcoming maternity leave, with the opportunity to convert to full-time after three months based on performance.

The successful candidate will play a key role in owning core accounting functions, supporting month-end close, and partnering closely with FP&A and leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will manage complex balance sheet reconciliations, prepare journal entries and accruals, review AP and AR activity, and assist with audit readiness and process improvements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced tech environment, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys building and improving accounting processes as the business grows.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong GL ownership and month-end close experience
• Advanced balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience in a technology or SaaS environment
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Process improvement mindset and ability to work independently

Compensation: $44 - $48/ Hour

Compensation is based on a range of factors including relevant experience, technical skill set, and overall fit for the role.
