Japanese Bilingual Accounting Manager

Company Overview
One of our clients, a global company located in NYC, is looking for a Japanese bilingual Accounting Manager. This position requires to be in the office at least 3 times a week.

• Record vendor invoices and process payments accurately and on time
• Prepare A/R and A/P reports and coordinate invoice approvals
• Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, loans, and accruals
• Execute and review monthly closing tasks and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and monthly reporting packages
• Perform fluctuation analysis for P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits
• Recommend improvements to accounting operations and systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
• English fluency required;
  Japanese language skills preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
