The Staff Accountant position supports the organization’s accounting operations by assisting with financial reporting, bank and account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and audit preparation.
Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation of the daily cash report.
- Monitor daily positive pay activity for checks and ACH transactions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly balance sheet preparation.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Support month-end closing procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial package.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Perform additional accounting responsibilities as required by management.
- Utilize strong Excel skills to support accounting and reporting functions.
- Manage time effectively while handling multiple assignments.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- 1+ years of Accounting experience
$60,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
