Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager opportunity for someone ideally who has experience working in a family office environment. The individual will ensure accuracy in financial records, provide insights into financial performance, and support the overall financial health of the organization.

This is a hybrid role – 3 days in NY.

Bachelor’s Degree and CPA certification highly preferred. Supervise and ensure timely reconciliation of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Oversight of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, including invoicing and vendor payments, proper expense categorization, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and cash flow tracking. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Provide financial summaries and analysis to the CEO to support strategic decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a family office, private equity, or similar environment is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive financial information.
