Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Ardsley, New York. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial transactions, timely payments, and meticulous record-keeping within our accounting operations. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying invoices, resolving payment discrepancies, auditing employee expense reports, and communicating effectively with vendors. Success in this position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to process improvement.

By supporting month-end closing activities and maintaining precise accounts payable records, you will directly contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our financial operations.

Requirements

+ Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

+ Minimum 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.

+ Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

+ Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
