Staff Accountant

EA Talent Solutions is partnering with a midtown Manhattan real estate management firm to hire a Staff Accountant
. This role supports daily accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate records and smooth office workflows. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically strong, and experienced in real estate accounting with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job cost accounting
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries with accuracy and timeliness
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Maintain and update tenant security deposit records and related transactions
• Provide general administrative and office support to ensure smooth departmental operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with in the real estate industry preferred
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager software
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of Form 1099 reporting requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective time‑management abilities
