Junior Accountant for our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 Annual Salary

We are looking for a dedicated Junior Accountant for our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Columbus, Ohio, for bedside patient care. This is a full-time, in-person position Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

Qualifications of the Junior Accountant:

• CPA designation preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Associate’s degree with equivalent experience also considered).
• 1–3 years of accounting experience in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or general ledger.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Fast learner with ambition to advance into a Senior Accountant or Controller position.

• Assist the Senior Accountant with monthly close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manage daily responsibilities such as facility expense tracking, bank reconciliations, petty cash oversight, and invoice coding.
• Support the AP Manager with vendor onboarding and resolution of payment or account issues.
• Prepare recurring financial reports for facility administrators.
• Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and broaden scope over time.
