Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting and finance team. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate billing, customer and project setup, and revenue reporting. The Staff Accountant will work cross‑functionally with sales, production, operations, and leadership.

• Support daily accounting functions, including accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
• Monitor billing schedules and collections timing
• Prepare revenue‑related journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
• Support the team with revenue recognition activities in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Identify and assist with onboarding new or missing customers and projects, ensuring accurate setup in billing and accounting systems
• Review customer invoices to identify mismatches, errors, or missing data across contracts, billing systems, and the general ledger
• Partner with sales, production, and operations teams to resolve billing and customer setup issues and help identify process improvements
• Assist with audit support and documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is a plus but not required
• 1–3 years of accounting experience supporting accounts receivable and general ledger accounting
• Experience with Workday is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner cross‑functionally
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, startup environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Experience with AP and AR systems
• Experience in media, entertainment, or public accounting is a plus

• Key contributor in building and scaling the accounting function
• Direct exposure to complex talent contracts and creator‑focused revenue streams
• Work that supports leadership decision‑making and company growth

• Hands‑on involvement in process improvement and systems enhancements
• Broad visibility across the business

Pay range: $67,000.00–$85,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for medical/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
