Senior Accountant
A growing financial services firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting functions, financial reporting, and system enhancements. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal teams and external partners while contributing to process improvements and financial accuracy.
Responsibilities- Prepare and record accounting transactions and produce financial reports.
- Post trial balances and maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with the conversion and implementation of Sage/Impact.
- Perform cash flow forecasting and ongoing monitoring.
- Manage intercompany billing and reconciliations.
- Serve as a liaison with banking partners and external accounting firms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Quick Books and Sage/Impact strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow.
