Senior Accountant

Base Pay Range

$45.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Work as a Consultant—chance to go perm if desired.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Preparing and analyzing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Preparing and recording journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all financial data is accurate.
• Assisting with audits, working closely with auditors to ensure all financial information is presented accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis between actuals and budget, and provide clear explanations for variances.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
• Work on special projects as needed, providing financial insights and recommendations.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred.
• Prior audit experience is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
