As a Senior Software Engineer on the Order Management team at Ridgeline, you'll take a leading role in building core trading workflows used by investment professionals to place, route, and manage orders. You'll collaborate with product managers and designers to create seamless, high-performance experiences that meet the demands of a modern asset management platform. The impact you will have:

* Design and build scalable order management workflows that support trading, allocations, and compliance integration

* Collaborate closely with product and design partners to deliver elegant and effective user experiences

* Develop services and APIs that ensure accuracy, performance, and auditability of order-related data

* Own features from conception to delivery with a high degree of autonomy and accountability

* Contribute to system architecture and promote engineering best practices across the team

* Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance productivity and code quality

* Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members with a spirit of continuous learning and improvement

* Embrace a growth mindset, actively seek feedback, and look for opportunities to improve both systems and processes

* Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performing environment

What we look for:

* 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally building enterprise SaaS or financial technology

* Strong experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Go

* Familiarity with cloud-native development and distributed systems architecture

* Proven ability to own projects end-to-end and deliver high-quality software in production environments

* Experience working with trading systems or order management workflows is a plus

* Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities

* Commitment to testing, documentation, and writing maintainable code

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* Willingness to learn about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating deep domain expertise
