• Design and deliver production‑grade AI agents: build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central to Sierra’s growth across industries such as finance, healthcare, and commerce.
• Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): own the process from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration; define ADLC best practices.
• Partner with large enterprises and cutting‑edge startups: work directly with leaders to understand business challenges and build AI agents that transform operations at scale.
• Build the future of the platform: collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape Sierra’s AI agent development future.

• Design & build agents for telecommunications and media companies that outperform human agents in managing subscription churn.
• Develop agents that navigate complex customer interactions, e.g., troubleshooting a device and personalizing product recommendations.
• Create generalizable AI agent frameworks tailored for industry‑specific use cases.
• Facilitate design partnerships for new product initiatives such as agent architectures, self‑service capabilities, and generative agent development.
• Experiment with the latest voice models and integrate them at scale for enterprise customers.

• Experience building and scaling end‑to‑end production systems.
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills, especially in fast‑changing, ambiguous environments.
• A builder and tinkerer’s mindset with high agency; creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Comfort working directly with customers to understand their needs and solve real‑world problems.
• Excellent communication skills—clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non‑technical audiences.

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
• Founding engineer or founder experience.
• Familiarity with AI agent tooling: eval frameworks, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering.
• Prior experience with React, Type Script, and/or Go.
• Previous roles interfacing with customers or leading external technical projects.
