Position: Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure or GCP)

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and self-driven Cloud Developer to join our dynamic Cloud Engineering team at a global financial organization specializing in developing innovative solutions for our clients. As a Cloud Developer, you will work on cutting-edge cloud automation projects and contribute to our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement cloud solutions and infrastructure automation.

Use infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform Enterprise or Azure Resource Manager to define and provision infrastructure resources.

Write clean, secure, efficient, and maintainable code in various programming languages.

Build applications using AKS, Serverless functions, Web technologies, Databases, etc.

Assist in migrating on-premise applications to Cloud platforms (Azure or GCP).

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from conception and design to testing and deployment.

Contribute to improving software development processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Collaborate with Security teams to integrate with AAD & IAM in Cloud Applications.

Provide operational and user-facing documentation.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud development.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of experience as a Cloud Developer or similar role.

Expertise in using Terraform for infrastructure as code.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).

Experience with Azure or GCP cloud platforms, with a focus on Azure.

Familiarity with Azure services like Compute, Functions, AAD, AKS, VPNGateways, Firewall, Storage, Monitoring, and Logging.

Experience with Dev Ops & CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Terraform, Ansible, Git Lab, Git Hub.

Knowledge of API development and software development tools and frameworks.

Experience with Azure AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Document Intelligence, AI Search) is a plus.

Strong understanding of systems architecture and design.

Proficiency with cloud networking and security services.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing large-scale, secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Knowledge of Kubernetes, Serverless, and Cloud Messaging.

Experience designing and implementing APIs.

Familiarity with cloud databases (SQL, No

SQL, Azure Cache for Redis) and UNIX/Windows systems.

Contributions to open-source projects.

Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Active certifications in Terraform, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
