How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Contribute to the development (Front-End and Back-End Services), design, and non-functional requirements (high availability, scalability, performance, service uptime and monitoring) of Marketing Websites by utilizing the latest technologies and industry best practices.
  • As a senior technical team member, mentor Junior Developers and perform PR reviews of other team members.
  • Monitor metrics for engineering quality and collaborate with the Cloud Engineering Team to establish optimum infrastructure for the various services according to scalability requirements.
  • Collaborate with service provider teams such as IAM, Info Sec and Data Technology.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Websites Product Owner, stakeholders and technology partner organizations to execute the product roadmap.
  • Contribute to technical debt reduction, strategic initiatives, and innovation projects aligned with organizational goals to deliver impactful outcomes.
You May Be a Good Fit If
  • You are a full-stack software engineer with extensive engineering and development experience, including building large-scale web applications (10+ years preferred).
  • Expertise in software engineering practices enabling incremental and agile delivery using CI/CD.
  • Strong proficiency in domain-driven design and programming languages such as React.js, Next.js, Type Script, Java and unit testing (Jest/JUnit).
  • Experience with databases like Mongo

    DB and RDS (Postgre

    SQL/MySQL/Maria

    DB).
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (Contentful and/or Drupal).
  • Experience with Search Solutions (Elastic/Open Search/Apache Lucene).
  • Familiarity with API specifications such as OpenAPI (Swagger), JSON, REST, and Graph

  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo, Git Hub Actions, etc.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, particularly AWS.
  • Experience standardizing web component development leveraging design systems and modern UI frameworks.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into architecture and design for new solutions.

  • Experience with microservices and frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of LLMs, Agentic AI and coding assistants like Git Hub Copilot or Amazon Q.
  • Knowledge of emerging AI API standards like MCP and A2A.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, remove impediments, and deliver great products in an agile environment.

Compensation

FOR NEW YORK AND CHICAGO ROLES ONLY:
Expected base pay for the role will be between $150,000 and $170,000 per year. Actual salaries are determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which may also include commissions, bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits.
