We are seeking a lead Software Engineer with full-stack development experience to join our team responsible for building LSEG Financial Analytics APIs. The core mission is to deliver LSEG Analytics data content into our clients via modern applications & platforms with the goal to deliver high quality software.

Main Responsibilities
* Design, build, & maintain efficient and reliable API services using well-adapted software design principles to build high quality and resilient software
* Build & maintain testing frameworks crafting unit & integration tests to ensure software quality and requirements
* Architect new applications while capturing user feed back using that to efficiently provide user improvements
* Staying abreast of the latest developments in web applications and programming languages to meet the needs of a constantly evolving system

Essential Skills and Experience
* Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering and related field
* 6+ years of experience leading full-stack development, with a focus on backend development
* Strong experience in building Framework and APIs
* Prior Financial Services experience preferred
* Strong experience with CI/CD, unit testing framework and automation (testing/deployment) in cloud platforms
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
* Willingness to learn and work with new technologies across the full stack with an ability to work independently
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional teams across multiple regions and timezones
* Experience with Redis Cache is a plus
** Compensation/Benefits Information:
** LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $125,900 - $209,900.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage.

Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of:
