About the RoleAsseta is seeking a senior software engineer to report directly to our CTO and lead the development of our core applications. You will collaborate with our team to develop groundbreaking technology and address our customers' financial challenges. This is a unique opportunity to significantly impact Asseta's future and the financial industry.

Required:

Design and implement robust, end-to-end production-level software to make complex data accessible through enterprise-class applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to refine technical requirements and rapidly develop prototypes to assess feasibility.
Architect and implement backend services and APIs to support front-end applications.
Optimize database performance, ensure data integrity, and manage relational database schemas.
Ensure application security and data privacy by implementing best practices and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to continuously improve team processes.
Required Qualifications7+ years of experience designing and implementing full-stack web applications using Python, React, and Type Script.
Thrive in small team environments and excel in rapid prototyping.
Strong front-end skills with a keen product and design sense, ensuring detailed UI/UX polish.
Proficiency in API integration and front-end data visualization.
Extensive experience with relational databases, particularly Postgre
SQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Cloud Formation.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control using Git.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile development environment.
Experience working in financial systems and accounting a plus

Expected salary range of $140,000-$180,000 USD
