Allied Mechanical Services is seeking a Installation Foreman:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Installation Supervisor for HVAC/R to lead our installation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical knowledge, along with the ability to read schematics and oversee projects from start to finish. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage resources, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver high-quality installations.
** Duties
* ** Supervise and coordinate the installation of HVAC/R systems in commercial settings.
* Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installations.
* Oversee the work of service technicians and other team members on-site.
* Conduct quality checks on installations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on installation techniques and safety protocols.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
** Skills
* ** Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and practices.
* Proficiency in refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration.
* Experience in plumbing and appliance repair related to HVAC systems.
* Familiarity with mechanical systems maintenance, including boilers and air conditioning units.
* Ability to use tools such as an ohmmeter for equipment repair diagnostics.
* Welding skills for installation tasks as needed.
* Field service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
