** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, lobbies, loading and service corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter as directed.

+ Monitor access points and assist with access control activities such as greeting entrants, observing visitor flow, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, suspicious activity, property damage, and/or alarm events, and notify appropriate personnel.

+ Observe and report conditions that may impact the location, such as unsecured doors, propped entrances, malfunctioning lights, blocked egress routes, and/or other irregular conditions, and communicate findings per site procedures.

+ Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation in a timely manner, using required systems and/or written forms.

+ Provide mobile and/or fixed post coverage as needed, including assisting with tenant service requests, coordinating with building management, and supporting authorized deliveries and contractor activity.

+ Use security-related communications equipment and, where applicable, video monitoring systems to document activity, relay information, and support response actions. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
