As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will support access control, assist residents and visitors with clear communication, and document activities as needed.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, corridors, amenity spaces, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and observe for suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or maintenance concerns, reporting issues through the proper channels.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or local responders as needed.

+ Complete shift activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs using approved reporting methods, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a New York State Security Guard License.

+ Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
