** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disruptions, suspicious activity, and medical-related emergencies by notifying appropriate clinical staff and/or emergency services.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned buildings, corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unlocked doors, and/or policy violations.

+ Control access to restricted areas by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization as directed by site policy, and assisting with visitor direction and way finding.

+ Document patrols, incidents, and observations in reports and logs, communicate key information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management, and support shift change briefings.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
