** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to manage crowd flow during events and peak times.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders to relay important information and provide assistance as needed.

+ Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings at all times, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related hazards promptly.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
