What We Need:
We are looking for a Sales Support Associate - Trade to join our Design Public Group team.
The Sales Support Associate - Trade is responsible for achieving budgeted sales goals aligned to the trade customer through inbound and outbound sales interactions, branding, customer engagement/training, event management, and marketing to build presence within the Trade customer base.
What You Will Do:
* Execute sales strategies related to the Trade customer in the achievement of budgeted goals; including but not limited to, inbound/outbound sales calls, cold-calling, marketing strategies, and customer support.
* Provide high-quality customer service and support to the Trade customer base to achieve long-term relationships and brand engagement.
* Establish, track, and report on sales projects and key metrics in adherence to established deadlines.
* Utilize customer feedback to generate business case ideas for future growth and change.
* Identify and participate in brand marketing related activities to promote brand awareness; including, but not limited to, social media campaigns, industry event participation - i.e. trade shows, etc.
* Maintain technical knowledge by attending manufacturer trainings and research accordingly.
* Identify and report website issues and fixes to appropriate parties.
* Collaborate as a team to meet and exceed goals collectively.
What You Have:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
* 1-year experience with commercial contract furniture or inside sales or eCommerce preferred.
* Working knowledge of furniture construction, design, textiles, and/or interior design.
What You're Good At:
* Ability to communicate expectations and requirements with both internal and external customers.
* Strong communication and facilitation skills, including ability to identify the root cause of issues and recommend solutions.
* Outstanding communication skills, across multiple modes, that adapt to ever-changing requirements including operating under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
* Expertise and/or ability to master a multitude of software systems including; but not limited to, MS Office, G Suite, Salesforce, Shopify, and other eCommerce order management (OMS) tools.
* A detailed focus personality with the ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.
