At 1stDibs, our sellers are our strategic partners, and this job is a critical part in building and maintaining these important relationships. We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and resourceful individual to join as an Account Manager. The ideal candidate must be an advocate for our sellers, have experience with luxury brands/products, be a quick-thinking problem-solver, and be a patient, collaborative team member.
This person must love working with people to build and maintain accounts and must be able to remain professional and helpful under pressure. We pride ourselves on being the best Marketplace for one-of-a-kind designer furniture, bringing history, creativity, class, and sophistication to our clients' spaces.
What you'll do
* Act as the key link between sellers and 1stDibs, manage expectations, and educate sellers on how to use the 1stDibs platform successfully
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing sellers, including proactively delivering feedback and best practices
* Identify opportunities and implement strategies to help increase seller success; meet or exceed KPIs related to seller satisfaction and growth
* Drive seller satisfaction by delivering excellent service in all seller interactions
* Understand and devise methods of tracking and meeting the needs of our audience and seller; keep current on the competitive landscape
* Develop deep subject matter expertise on seller products
* Play an instrumental role in ensuring that 1stDibs maintains its integrity by influencing the merchandising and inventory mix of our verticals
* Aid in explaining and enforcing 1stDibs' internal policies
Who you are
* You have 1+ B2B account management, business development or sales experience
* You have superb attention to detail and organization
* You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPI/quotas
* You have excellent writing, speaking, presentation, and computer skills, including MSOffice or Google Suite; ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately based on the audience
* You have the ability to multi-task and work well in a self-directed, fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly
* You have demonstrated the ability to influence internal and external decision makers
Nice to Have
* Experience working in e-commerce companies
* Knowledge of and experience with sellers and luxury products

Our overall compensation package is made of several parts, base compensation being one of them. At 1stDibs we value and are proud of our culture, innovation, professional development and training workshops, trust and giving back to the community. Equity, a comprehensive benefits package, and incentive (IF APPLICABLE) are all are components of your total compensation package. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Tri-State Pay Range
$69,000-$78,000 USD

Total Compensation Statement
1stDibs views the value of the employees' compensation package in its totality. The package may comprise base salary, variable compensation (either equity or cash, where applicable), and health and work-life benefits, and is reviewed annually. Ultimately, we'll determine your pay based on your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Benefits (US based positions)
* Competitive medical/dental/vision benefits, including a $0 single medical plan, with HSA employer contributions. Health plan includes gender affirmation and infertility care.
* We are flexible with our PTO. We generally expect employees take around 15 days/year.
* All employees enjoy ownership in 1stDibs in RSUs, through new hire grants, and/or annual refresh grants, if eligible.
