Partners at our Starbucks Reserve Coffee & Cocktail Lounge play a key role in creating a unique experience that blends coffee culture with innovative cocktails. They engage customers by guiding them through a diverse menu featuring coffee-forward craft cocktails, and locally inspired creations, both paired with our delicious Reserve Kitchen artisanal food offerings. Partners are passionate about creating a memorable customer experience through craft cocktail theatre and service.

Focused on a total service model, partners look to elevate the customer experience through belonging, joy, and craft as they create connections and an inviting atmosphere where customers can relax and socialize. This fast-paced environment encourages partners to develop their passion for service while working alongside a diverse team of Starbucks partners.

This position contributes to Starbucks success of the Starbucks Reserve brand by assisting the operations managers, associate managers, and/or specialists in executing store operations and functions during scheduled shifts. Operations leads are committed to operational excellence through the delivery of high-quality products and service, working cohesively with the greater team to ensure delivery of the Starbucks Reserve Experience. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

As an operations lead you will:

* Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks

* Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team

* Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the Starbucks Reserve experience during each shift

* Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Provides feedback to operations manager

* Contribute to positive team environment

* Deliver legendary service to all customers

* Develop positive and professional working relationships with partners

* Execute operational assignments during scheduled shifts. Leverages functional systems consistently to support delivery of the Starbucks Reserve experience

* Follow Starbucks Reserve operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, health, safety and security

* Manage service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as company and brand and policies and standards

* Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

* Storytell and communication of the Starbucks Reserve Kitchen brand, food and culture
