Job Description: Our client is seeking a compassionate Small Animal Veterinarian to join a welcoming practice on the West Side, where teamwork and communication are at the heart of daily operations. This position suits a clinician who enjoys a mix of preventative care, medicine, and minor procedures, and who takes pride in providing a calm, reassuring experience for both pets and owners.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans for small animals
- Explaining clinical findings and options in a clear, empathetic way to clients
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity of care across the full caseload
- Participating in case discussions, peer learning, and quality-improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with all required protocols, documentation, and safety standards
- Recognised veterinary degree (DVM/VMD or equivalent) and state licence eligibility
- Sound experience or strong interest in small animal general practice
- Calm, organised approach to working in a busy urban clinic
- Strong communication skills with a focus on client education and team cohesion
- Willingness to engage in CE, mentorship, and continuous improvement
- Choice of stable full-time schedule or reduced hours to fit other commitments
