We are looking for a consultative team lead to join our Global Agency Team. The team will play a critical role in establishing and leading strategic partnerships between Tik Tok and key global agencies. This team is consultative in nature and will lead the long-term growth of each global agency. The Head of Global Agency will own and nurture C-level business agency-side relationships globally, and partner with Tik Tok's regional market General Managers to drive platform growth.
Our Head of Global Agency will act as the strategic ambassador responsible for building Tik Tok's reputation and revenue for key advertising agencies. The Head of Global Agency will anticipate the business needs of the largest holding companies, and deliver measurable solutions for our clients. They will steward industry level thought leadership, work cross-functionally and collaboratively with regional Agency Lead teams and drive organizational KPIs while being passionate about inspiring creativity and joy among our Holding Company partners around the world.
The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about cross-functional agency development, proficient in high level strategic thinking and regional market enablement. This role requires the ability to work across different time zones and cultures and bring a philosophy of client-centricity to the role both internally and externally. The successful candidate is a builder, intellectually curious, creative, entrepreneurial, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, strong in strategic thinking and has deep experience leading through influence.
Responsibilities
* Build and shape the vision, global strategy, approach, regional coordination, engagement planning and success metrics for global Holding Companies.
* Develop and maintain C-level relationships to expand Tik Tok's presence, and educate and inform on the power of Tik Tok's platform.
* Lead analysis and problem solving, lead a team in multiple, simultaneous client and stakeholder engagements, and develop client buy-in to generate and/or maintain strategic global partnerships.
* Build 'ground up' comprehensive business plans, global in nature and regional in execution, that will drive top line revenue growth.
* Sell in a team environment, lead and assist in the development of generating incremental revenue via strategic partnerships.
* Utilize experience to generate thought leadership and content associated with specific Holding Company needs, to drive repeat business and help increase existing direct revenue from our top global Holding Companies.
* Work with regional sales leadership to establish/set strategic objectives and goals that maximize business impact.
* Regularly consult with regional sales leadership to enhance brand and product level positioning and engagement in their markets.
* Sustain close communication and alignment with clients and regional sales counterparts to maximize client strategies and engender trust and collaboration.
* Communicate global Holding Company strategies with internal stakeholders (regional GMs & sales leads) while driving regional consideration, adoption and consistency.
* Takes responsibility for, and is very good at, developing and growing professional staff in line with corporate culture and values, actively contributes to building and sharing the organization's values and leads by example.
* Partner with the internal Global Accounts team and their key decision makers in order to drive collaboration and synergistic advancement across the broader Global Agency & Accounts team.
* Work collaboratively with the partner Global Accounts Team lead to help drive 360 planning.
* Represent Tik Tok at key client and industry events, as a delegate and or speaker.
Minimum Qualifications
* Leadership experience in agency, have run a global business for a platform/publisher, or have a media sales and/or consulting background with strengths in pitching and negotiating
* Proven track record of growing large scale (15 plus) high-performing teams
* Expert level global agency management experience managing global media agendas across multiple markets and cultures
* Extensive strategy development and consultative skills among sophisticated agency leadership
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will be showcased while working with internal and external leadership
* Truly global experience operating at global networks or with global agencies in previous roles and have deep understanding of cultural nuances by countries, cultures, and languages
* Experienced in building commercial and growth strategies to drive hyper-growth at a brand, agency or platform
Preferred Qualifications
* Effectively and confidently balance the dual expectations and business goals of Tik Tok and our global Holding Companies, as well as the expectations of multiple clients and regional sales teams
