We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team of healthcare professionals!
We pride ourselves in providing the best care for those dealing with substance use disorder, and we need your leadership skills, empathy, and can-do attitude on our team. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and providing for the safety and housing needs of the facilities and clients. The Operations Supervisor is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining the condition of facility in a safe and orderly manner;
and reporting any identified deficits to the Director of Operations. In addition, this position supervises a diverse team of support staff and oversees clients' daily schedules within the facility's policies and procedures and in accordance with the standards of OASAS regulations. Seeking shift of 3pm-11pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and coverage of front desk and client care coordinators, during all business hours, and ensuring that there is appropriate coverage.
- Ensuring prospective clients are screened in a timely manner and assisting with intake process as needed.
- Managing and supervising client care coordinators and security.
- Training department staff to complete all necessary tasks for program operations.
- Ensuring staff maintain all client confidentiality and privacy guidelines.
- Ensuring admissions board is updated by informing Admissions Director when discharges, transfers and room changes have taken place.
- Reporting any undue client incidents to the facility directors.
- Ensuring the appropriate distribution of metro cards to clients.
- Coordinating hospital runs for clients needing x-rays and other services requested by medical.
- Managing break schedule to ensure all staff receive break.
- Gathering soiled linen for pick up, and receiving and distributing incoming laundry.
- Transmitting instructions from the supervisor to appropriate staff members either orally or in writing, and periodically checking to ensure that such instructions are being followed.
- Providing kitchen manager with daily census.
- Receiving incoming packages for clients.
- Gathering/preparing clients' property for discharge.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a related field (Chemical Dependency, Mental Health, etc.)
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Familiar with rules and regulations regarding client confidentiality/HIPAA
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Independently solve problems and follow through
- Attention to detail
- Computer skills
