A key part of growth is our work winning team, who are responsible for influencing bidding strategy and ensuring effective implementation of a consistent bidding process to deliver industry-leading bids, pitches and proposals in support of the Mace Consult business plan targets and aspirations.

The Head of Pursuits will have a track record of success in leading major bids for projects and frameworks, experience in leading diverse and inclusive teams, and the drive and enthusiasm to support Mace in its future growth. They will be a part of the global work winning senior leadership team reporting into the work winning director, and successful undertaking of the role requires effective collaboration within that team.

The Head of Pursuits must be able to plan for succession and build in people management and sub-contracting practices to effectively respond to bidding demands as required, helping to build a department fit to service our ambitious growth plans, incorporating international expansion.

The Head of Pursuits is a leadership role within the bid team, providing the interface between the bidding team and the Americas hub. The Work Winning Director leads a team, formed of bidding managers and assistants, working with our global bid writing and bid design teams, business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure that Mace submits high-quality bid responses that have the best possible chance of success.

You'll Be Responsible For:

* Effective strategy and required leadership building, maintaining and developing an exemplar team of bidding professionals.

* Ensuring full visibility of the future business pipeline and upcoming capture and bidding priorities/requirements to help manage demand, reporting and communicating where appropriate.
