Attorney​/Lawyer

Description We are looking for an experienced and motivated Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in New York, New York.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile commercial real estate transactions, including multi-family and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment that emphasizes mentorship and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

- Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including contracts, leases, loan agreements, and operating agreements.

- Prepare post-closing documents and detailed closing statements for real estate transactions.

- Analyze and provide feedback on leases, contracts of sale, and other real estate-related agreements.

- Collaborate with the legal team to manage acquisitions, sales, financing, and leasing transactions.

- Conduct thorough research and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders through formal correspondence and presentations.

- Utilize tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage legal documentation and workflows.

- Revise and redline documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.

- Maintain organized records and manage case files using document management systems. Requirements - A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a preference for 3+ years.

- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to real estate transactions.

- Strong understanding of legal terminology and experience with tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Demonstrated experience in acquisitions, sales, financing (including Loan Transactions), and leasing.

- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with case management and document management software is a plus.
