About The Role:

Seaport Entertainment Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Paralegal to join our New York office, reporting to the VP & Associate General Counsel. This role will also collaborate with SEG's Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, Hospitality, and Sponsorship teams as needed. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience from an in-house legal department or law firm, with a focus on corporate governance, legal entity management, and SEC compliance.

What You Will Do
  • Provide corporate governance support, including Board of Directors materials (via Diligent) and Annual Shareholder Meeting logistics
  • Manage legal entity records, organizational charts, and franchise tax payments in coordination with CSC
  • Assist with SEC and other regulatory filings
  • Draft and review basic legal contracts (NDAs, LOIs, sponsorship agreements, event/venue buy-out agreements, purchase orders, etc.)
  • Support administrative insurance claims management (preferred, not required), coordinating with claims representatives and tracking matters to resolution
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across SEG on legal and business initiatives
  • Ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness across all legal processes
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in a legal department (in-house or law firm)
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, legal entity management, and SEC compliance
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and commercial contract structures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Diligent board management software
  • Experience with Broadridge, Computershare, and DTCC preferred
Compensation range: $105,000 - $150,000 per year
