The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven (7) years of substantive real estate paralegal experience, with a demonstrated focus on commercial transactions and significant lender-side representation. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Akerman has adopted a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing.
- Oversee and coordinate due diligence, title and survey review, and closing processes.
- Draft, review, and manage transaction documents and closing checklists.
- Liaise effectively with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders.
- Manage post-closing documentation and ensure compliance with transaction requirements.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, with a strong emphasis on lender-side transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet transaction timelines.
Job Type:
Full-Time (40 hours per week);
Monday - Friday (Overtime as needed)
Salary Range: $105,000 - $135,000 (Actual salary is based on experience and job qualifications.)
