About the Role:

(5 DAYS IN OFFICE ROLE)
We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for a strategic litigator with deep experience in litigation who thrives in high-stakes environments and is passionate about advocating for clients in complex disputes.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
• Represent clients in court and administrative hearings
• Draft legal documents and correspondence
• Maintain compliance with firm billing and reporting standards

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois or New York State Bar
• 3-10+ years of litigation experience (defense or plaintiff-side)
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
• Experience in med mal, transportation, or nursing home litigation is a plus (Chicago)
• Experience in commercial litigation or employment law is a plus (NYC)
