Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in providing strategic legal guidance to Blackstone Real Estate and its portfolio companies on a broad range of legal matters.
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive consensus on complex, material issues with potential portfolio-wide impact.
• Effectively brief up and concisely summarize complex legal issues to Real Estate leadership.
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with general counsels and legal teams at portfolio companies.
• Manage portfolio company escalation policies, including development and implementation of standards, playbooks and protocols.

Qualifications:

• An attorney with 8+ years of experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
• Experience navigating sponsor/portfolio company relationships.
• Familiarity with real estate company operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $210,000 - $275,000.
